How It Works
Everything you need to know before your first visit.
At Zap Lab, families choose from a variety of hands-on STEM building experiences designed to make learning exciting, creative, and memorable. When you arrive, kids and parents select a project level and work together at one of our guided build stations to create real circuit theory projects using lights, buzzers, switches, sensors, screens, and custom 3D-printed components made right in our lab. Our experiences are designed for beginners and growing builders alike, with step-by-step guidance that makes technology approachable and fun.
As students build, they learn foundational STEM concepts through hands-on problem solving and creativity — not worksheets or lectures. Every project becomes tangible "proof of work," giving kids something real they designed, assembled, tested, and completed with their own hands. From glowing night lights to interactive electronic gadgets, each build is both educational and rewarding to take home and show off.
Zap Lab is also about creating meaningful parent-child experiences. We believe some of the best learning happens when families explore new interests together, work through challenges side-by-side, and experience the excitement of building something that actually works. Whether you stop in for a quick beginner project or a more advanced custom build, our goal is to inspire curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a lifelong interest in STEM and technology.
Best of all, experiences start at just $24, making hands-on STEM learning accessible, interactive, and fun for the whole family.
